Campers ages 6-8 & 9-11 will explore boating and boat safety as well as games, crafts with a dash
of Maritime history as well! One day camper’s will cruise the sound on the Down East Rover,
power out on the Dolphin Watch, and then paddle around the Nags Head Woods. No experience
necessary, but having a good time is required! Cost: $110/member $135/non-members. Extended

Three Photographers: Elizabeth Kiourtzidis, Jeff Linn and Dan Waters
Art Gallery. Jeff Linn creates photographs of area landscapes, flowers and more. He’s
accompanied by Dan Waters who turns photography into visual poetry as he works with light and
form to capture everything from expressive color in a flower, texture of sand or rain on sea glass.
Elizabeth Kiourtzidis fills out the trio with a variety of effervescent photos from fashion shots and
baby portraits to nature and local scenes. The exhibition speaks to the many kinds of photography
available to the professional and the myriad ways the artist sees the world. An opening reception
will be held on Sunday, July 6 from 4- 6 p.m. It is free and open to the public. For more

friendship and respect are just a handful of the character traits that show up in this adventure!
Sadie, the caterpillar, has turned over a new leaf by starting classes at a brand new school. The
only problem is none of the other bugs like her because she's a caterpillar. Determined not to be
made fun of, she befriends a very different ladybug and learns a valuable lesson-that true beauty
really does come from within. In becoming a beautiful butterfly, she soon discovers she has

Town of Duck’s Summer Music Series
Duck’s Summer Music Series will be held on the Town Green on Tuesday and Thursday evenings
from 6 – 7:30 p.m., with two exceptions. There will be two special Wednesday evening concerts.
On Wednesday, July 16th, The Wells Family Band will bring its blend of acoustic pop, bluegrass,
and country to the Duck Park stage and on Wednesday, August 13th, The Fuzz Band of Hampton
Roads will be back in Duck after their 2007 Jazz Festival appearance entertaining the crowds with a

75ft. octopus and 40ft. mantaray's, fly in the air at the base of the Wright Brothers Monument.
